Hang finished and dried ornaments from you light fixtures (safely, of course) or from the ceiling. This is a great effect if you’re throwing a generic holiday party with a winter or igloo theme.

Follow this guide to craft your own Christmas snowballs that glitter and shimmer and shine.

Snowballs

Things You’ll Need:

a box of glass ball ornaments

brushes for brushing on the glue

white glue

lots of fine glitter in a light color

Directions:

1. Prepare your working area by laying down an old sheet or tablecloth for when you’ll be dripping glue and glitter
2. Take off any hangers or metal from the ornament.
3. Paint the ball completely covering the outside with glue.
4. Cover the ball with glitter, either by dipping it in or sprinkling it on.
5. Leave the balls to dry for a few hours. Two or three hours drying time is recommended.
6. Put the hangers back on so you can hang it.
7. Tie on a ribbon to finish it all off.
8. Repeat for more and more snowballs
