People judge us based on our appearance. If you are dressed a certain way others will look at you and make a decision based only on the way you look. If you want people to think of you as someone who is into sports and very active, sweat suites and comfortable clothes will give that off. There are many brand name clothes that are specific for sports and when you have the logo or name on your clothes others will know that you participate in sports. If you want to impress others then dress the part. Say you are going for a job interview; you should dress in professional shirt, pants, shoes, and look. You want the person who is interviewing you to know that you have your life together and can add value to whichever job you are going for. It is never a good idea to not be yourself and if you are not into wearing professional clothes; then don’t. Maybe a different kind of job will fit you better. The purpose of this is for you to understand that others make a decision about you based on what you wear and non-verbal communication is important in your life. You can really impress others just by what clothes you put onto your body.
