Appropriately packaging CDs and DVDs is potentially one of the most frequently forgotten but essential practices to come to terms with when copying and manufacturing discs. Because even the most basic factor has the potential to subtract from the fine quality of the general project and so tarnish your labor. DVD and CD packaging is one thing you and your team definitely want to get done the way it should be. Do don’t you even think of compromising your company’s trusted reputation by delivering shoddy work!

To begin with you ought to know regarding CD DVD product packaging – there’s a big distinction between replicating media and duplicating them. You’ll discover that there is a fundamental difference, never mind that both appear the same thing. Duplication makes use of precisely the same method go for in your house any time you burn DVDs, however at a considerably quicker execution rate.

The downside is that this solution is marginally more high priced because it’s usually utilized when working on little quantities close to 10,000 or less. In addition, it provides a slightly lesser quality as opposed to alternative process for DVD packaging, to wit production by replication. DVD and CD product packaging employing replication means the info will be replicated by imprinting all data files onto the CDs and/or DVDs. After that, they’re run through the printing press and also worked over with special coating. Normally, this is carried out for a large number of DVDs, and the attainable quality is actually phenomenal. For smallish quantities this is usually not economically sustainable. Then of course you’ll need to make a decision about whether or not to deploy standard cases or possibly “digipacks”. Traditional cases would be the sizeable pvc kinds that have a couple of guides for the paper inlets. These come in various styles. They can hold several DVDs or CDs, and they are popular as they offer a little extra protective cover for the DVD or CD they will come with. Having said that, they may be high priced and not particularly green, unless you cough up more for ones made from recycled materials. Yet more expensive: truly bio degradable cases boasting nil or even a favorable carbon footprint. By comparison, digipacks consist of card board which has a smallish disc holder made of clear plastic within. They’re completely different – they stand out, and on the whole much better for our global climate.

Be sure to surf to this really inspiring page for CD duplication information!

Take into account going resourceful when dealing with CD DVD packaging. Leveraging nowaday’s technological advances, there’s lots of opportunity to go far beyond conventional creatives and decide on something special or possibly interactive for the CD or DVD packaging. Cardboard pop-ups, a variety of raw materials, cut-outs made from paper or cardboard, and other artistic procedures can work as well making media products, intel, films and/or song tracks jump out in their respective sales environ. Freebies and even competitions have also turned into preferred addendums to common CD and DVD product packaging. People love picking up prints, vintage portrait cards, signed memorabilia, along with other things you could add to your CD or DVD. Or, throw in codes consumers may enter online in order to gain access to mystery videos or sound tracks, register for tournaments, or, last but not least, grab mark downs.

CD and DVD product packaging can potentially have a very large bearing on products or services sold along with the personal opinion buyers form of your DVDs or CDs. Always make sure that your DVDs don’t fail by only going for top quality packaging and design. And in case you’re worried, this won’t have to increase production expenses- you can easily hire a lot of fantastic design artists online at eminently reasonable fees in other words the decision is solely yours to go for.

Producing an ezine needs a lot of creativity, so it would be a shame to destroy that with the wrong ezine software. The key part of making an ebrochure is selecting the software provider to use. It’s not a case of merely picking some neat format for your magazine – indeed this is a crucial choice as it may easily mean success or failure for your venture.

One of the most crucial characteristics to look for is, naturally, ease of use. The software could be the most impressive you’ve seen – but if you’re unable to use it, it isn’t worth anything! Be sure to try out different packages before you select a provider for your ebrochure.

In making an ezine you also want to think about security. Is the endeavour protected? Is the content itself protected? Which measures have been taken which stops people from just copy-pasting the subject? Have you made a strategy to market your flash publication? Whatever your marketing plan may look like, you will should think about these matters, maybe not for each individual publication but for your company overall. How will you use networking media? What consideration has been made of handling adverts? Search engine usable content could also be highly important when considering how to market your digital journal.

Something else to consider is how you’ll be dealing with previous issues. Will you make your e-zine or ebrochure available? If you’re planning on wide accessibility, then try hosting it directly with the vendor. How are you planning to advertise this interactive magazine? The technical support provided by the provider should form your final consideration. Can you call in or email anyone with problems? Be sure that they have quick response time! What is the trouble-shooting page like? These are things you want to look at before you suffer any trouble, you will be happy you did!

Only very careful decision-making is rewarded with high achievement. Lacking the best host the publication won’t succeed as well as it could.

If you know how there is Money to be made in writing Ebooks and publishing them Online. Browse our articles and decide how you will go about it. Will You have a go at Self Publishing, or look for a Book Publishing Company!

If You are looking at writing a ebook and publishing it online but don’t know what to write then here is an idea to get you started:

Go to your local bookstore or Amazon.com and look at the magazine rack. Find out what people are buying. Look at a targeted niche. Look at what people are subscibing to. What are the big advertisements. Companies don’t spend money on advertising unless there is a return. Look at the letters to the editor and look for a problem. It is also good to get Back Issue’s so you get a good overview of the market.

Here is an example so you get a better idea:

You choose your niche topic “Fishing” for example. You get five different fishing magazines and go to the secondhand bookstore and dig up some back issues, Doesn’t have to cost a fortune.

Upon reading through them you find that the big advertisers are selling “Kite fishing gear” now with this in mind You also find that there are lots of letters to the editor asking “How best to set up the rigging for the Kite and how to tell the best times to go out.”

Now have a look online at “Google Search” and type in “Kite Fishing” See what there is to offer. Is there any books or manuals solving these peoples problems if not you may have a winner. Now go to Overture.com and look up Keywords for kite fishing and see how many searches are being made for that topic. If there are 4 searches a month then you do not have a demand.

Do some research on Kite Fishing and if you are able “Interview Experts” on the topic. Record your Conversation with their permission of course and then get it transcriped. There are many transcription places to go online and it doesn’t cost to much. Now you have some content for your ebook without writing a thing and you are now the expert author.

Look for people who are passionate about that particular Topic, that have Disposable Income and a Credit Card. Write something that will solve a problem and then market that product to them. Find the market first then create the product to suit. This way you are able to quickly create a product with pre-determined demand, get a ebook, video or audio, your own digital product and sell it online without huge overheads.

So you see, you can become you very own publishing expert without years of experience. If you haven’t already signed up to our newsletter to recieve sound advice and great hints and tips so you can save Time and Money and also get great creative idea’s for new products and how to market them.

[From our deconstruction of hundreds of Hollywood blockbusters and sitcoms at www.clickok.co.uk and our isolation and identification of more than 188 stages of the Hero's Journey that you need to know about...]

The Hero’s Journey is the template upon which the vast majority of successful stories and Hollywood blockbusters are based upon. In fact, ALL of the Hollywood movies we have deconstructed are based on this template.

Understanding this template is a priority for story or screenwriters.

The Hero’s Journey:

a) Attempts to tap into unconscious expectations the audience has regarding what a story is and how it should be told.

b) Gives the writer more structural elements than simply three or four acts, plot points, mid point and so on.

c) Interpreted metaphorically, laterally and symbolically, allows an infinite number of varied stories to be created.

and more…

The search for story structure

There is a constant search for effective story structure. The purpose being to find some formula / methodology that will enhance creative output and make the job of idea generation / writing stories easier.

Various methods have been adopted and one of the most commonly known is the simple three act structure, which is popular because it can be applied universally but has the inherent weakness of being pointless, because it doesn’t do the core job of making writing easier (it has no structural elements).

With the wide variety of stories out there – plays, TV dramas, sitcoms, screenplays etc… the task of finding such a formula seems daunting.

The concept of a universal formula is itself criticised. As is the idea of a universal process.

However, by reducing the task to one domain – say screenwriting – it becomes a little more logical to pose the question that perhaps there is a formula just for writing effective screenplays.

The way to overcome the first barrier (psychological) is not to question the validity of a formula – whether one should exist or not – but to simply accept that if there is one, then the writer should use it to maximum effect. The problems here revolve around the area of “creativity”, which is supposed to result from anything other than a process. But creativity managers know that there is far more process and structure involved in creativity and innovation than is normally given credit.

The way to overcome the second barrier (the search for an effective system) is to search by deconstructing many, if not all, the successful end-results out there, in other words, deconstructing as many successful screenplays as possible. The revelation from that endeavour results in an insight into story construction that cannot be read about.

Ultimately, we arrive at the conclusion that there is indeed one core template upon which all successful screenplays are built upon…and all the writer has to do is master it.

We call that core template the Hero’s Transformation but it is known more commonly as the Hero’s Journey.

Learn more…

The Complete 188 stage Hero’s Journey and other story structure templates can be found at http://www.clickok.co.uk/

It is often observed that many people’s top ranking fear is not death but having to speak in public. The joke is that these people would rather be lying in the casket at the funeral than giving the eulogy. Public speaking for people who suffer from panic attacks or general anxiety often becomes a major source of worry weeks or even months before the speaking event is to occur.

These speaking engagements do not necessarily have to be the traditional “on a podium” events but can be as simple as an office meeting where the individual is expected to express an opinion or give verbal feedback. The fear of public speaking and panic attacks in this case centers on having an attack while speaking. The individual fears being incapacitated by the anxiety and hence unable to complete what he or she is saying. The person imagines fleeing the spotlight and having to make all kinds of excuses later for their undignified departure out the office window….

This differs slightly from the majority of people who fear public speaking because their fear tends to revolve around going blank while speaking or feeling uncomfortable under the spotlight of their peers. The jitters or nerves of speaking in public are of course a problem for this group as well, but they are unfamiliar with that debilitating threat which is the panic attack, as they most likely have not experienced one before.

Public Speaking and Panic AttacksSo how should a person with an anxiety issue tackle public speaking? Stage one is accepting that all these bizarre and quite frankly unnerving sensations are not going to go away overnight. In fact, you are not even going to concern yourself with getting rid of them for your next talk. When they arrive during a speech/meeting, you are going to approach them in a new manner. What we need to do is build your confidence back to where it used to be before any of these sensations ever occurred. This time you will approach it in a unique, empowering manner, allowing you to feel your confidence again. It is said that most of the top speakers are riddled with anxiety before speaking, but they somehow use this nervousness to enhance their speech. I am going to show you exactly how to do this, although I know that right now if you suffer from public speaking and panic attacks you may find it difficult to believe you can ever overcome it.

My first point is this and it is important. The average healthy person can experience an extreme array of anxiety and very uncomfortable sensations while giving a speech and is in no danger of ever losing control, or even appearing slightly anxious to the audience. No matter how tough it gets, you will always finish your piece, even if at the outset it feels very uncomfortable to go on. You will not become incapacitated in any way.

The real breakthrough for if you suffer from public speaking and panic attacks happens when you fully believe that you are not in danger and that the sensations will pass.

“I realize you (the anxiety) hold no threat over me.”

What keeps a panic attack coming again and again is the fear of the fearthe fear that the next one will really knock your socks off and you feel you were lucky to have made it past the last one unscathed. As they were so unnerving and scary, it is your confidence that has been damaged by previous anxiety episodes. Once you fully understand you are not under any threat, then you can have a new response to the anxiety as it arises while speaking.

Defeating public speaking and panic attacks…

There is always a turning point when a person moves from general anxiety into a panic attack, and that happens with public speaking when you think to yourself:

“I won’t be able to handle this in front of these people.”

That split second of self-doubt leads to a rush of adrenaline, and the extreme anxiety arrives in a wave like format. If, however, when you feel the initial anxiety and you react with confidence that this is not a threat to you, you will move out of the anxiety rapidly. Using this new approach is a powerful ally because it means it is okay to feel scared and feel the anxiety when speaking-that is fine; you are going to feel it and move with and through the sensations in your body and out the other side. Because he or she is feeling very anxious, often before the talk has begun, that person may feel they have already let themselves down. Now, you can relax on that point. It is perfectly natural to feel the anxiety. Take for example the worst of the sensations you have ever experienced in this situationbe it general unease to loss of breath. You will have an initial automatic reaction that says:

“Danger-I’m going to have an episode of anxiety here and I really can’t afford that to happen.”

At this point most people react to that idea and confirm it must be true because of all of the unusual feelings they are experiencing. This is where your thinking can lead you down a train of thought that creates a cycle of anxiety that produces a negative impact on your overall presenting skills.

So let that initial “oh dear, not now” thought pass by, and follow it up immediately with the attitude of:

“There you are-I’ve been wondering when you would arrive. I’ve been expecting you to show upby the way, I am not in the least threatened by any of the strange sensations you are creatingI am completely safe here.”

Public Speaking and Panic AttacksThe key to controlling your fear of public speaking and panic attacks is that instead of pushing the emotional energy and excitement down into your stomach, you are moving out through it. Your body is in a slightly excited state, exactly as it should be while giving a speech, so release that energy in your self-expression. Push it out through your presentation not down into your stomach. You push it out by expressing yourself more forcefully. In this way you turn the anxiety to your advantage by using it to deliver a speech where you come across more alive, energetic and in the present moment. When you notice the anxiety drop as it does when you willingly move into it. Fire a quick thought off when you get a momentary break (as I am sure you have between pieces), asking it for “more.” You want more of its intense feelings as you are interested in them and are absolutely not threatened by them.

It seems like a lot of things to be thinking about while talking to a group of people, but it is not really. You’d be amazed how many different non-related thoughts you can have while speaking. This approach is about adopting a new attitude of confidence to what you might have deemed a serious threat up until now. This tactic will truly help you with fear of public speaking and panic attacks you have associated with them.

If your predominant fear of the speaking engagement is driven by a feeling of being trapped, then I would suggest factoring in some mental releases that can be prepared before the event. For example, some meetings/speeches allow for you to turn the attention back to the room to get feedback etc. from the group.

If possible, you might want to prepare such opportunities in your own mind before the engagements. This is not to say you have to ever use them, but people in this situation often remark that just having small opportunities where attention can be diverted for the briefest of moments can make the task seem less daunting. It my even be something as simple as having people introduce themselves or opening the floor to questions. I realize these diversions are not always possible and depend on the situation, but anything you can factor in that makes you feel less trapped or under the spotlight is worth the effort and can help alleviate fear of public speaking and panic attacks.

I hope you have found this public speaking and panic attacks page helpful. Please give it some careful consideration and you will realize it contains the truth.

Did you know it is possible to write four articles per hour and put them online? During the last year and I have been doing this for about 6400 articles. You see you can write articles very rapidly, touch them up a bit and submit them to an online article submission web site. Now mind you they may not be the most perfect articles in the entire world, but in 15 minutes you can write a passing quality article and submit it to.

It behooves people who own their own web site and who have consulting businesses or perhaps sell something online to write online articles and submit them to online article submission web sites and put a byline underneath with a web link.

So, how do you write a decent online article in only 15 minutes? Well, first you open a word file put in a title at the top. Make sure there is one space before the top of the great title and then click the enter button two times so there are two spaces underneath that title and then you need to write down the page to the five and a half inches marker. A fairly good typist can do this in about five to seven minutes; yes caffeine helps.

Next you must go fix any mistakes that you have made in spelling or sentence structure. This will take you a few more minutes. Next after that carefully reread it and clarify anything that might be ambiguous to the reader. This will take you about four minutes. Then you need to go to an online article submission web site and post the article you wrote in this will take you a few more minutes. And I have to go my time is up. Consider all this in 2006

Writers, when using description, often forget that the purpose is to create a mental picture for the reader and not to have words overwhelm that function. Often words overwhelm this function as the writer uses it to show their love of words for their own sake.

Description should not be secondary to word choice; it should serve its primary reason: to create a mental picture. Only when it creates the desired mental picture is it effective.

Some writers use description to show their erudition, their knowledge of words, their vocabulary, and ability. When words intrude upon this function, then they tend to decorate rather than illuminate. Thus a writer must be ever vigilant that one does not befuddle the reader with an obtuse choice of words. The old adage, Keep It Simple Stupid, is worthwhile to consider. All the best writers adhere to that rule so their descriptions are clear, exact, and effective.

Some writers feel that description must overwhelm the senses when in reality they should use them to draw the reader into the scene, the atmosphere, and the mood that the writer is trying to create. It must be done subtly, cunningly, and unobtrusively, making sure that the words do not draw undue attention to passage.

Words should not be used to decorate.

Have you ever thought of writing an e-book? Writing an e-book can be a boring process. It’s quite possible you start writing an e-book and may never end it. In order to overcome such a situation it’s quite important that you make a strict schedule for yourself to write. One of the best ways to complete an e-book is to just go on writing without having to wonder what the next sentence would actually be. Points to be considered at the time of writing an e-book

Decide an appealing tile for your e-book:

It’s very important to have an effective headline for your e-book. Effective title attracts people by creating a curiosity in them to read. A title should be such that it helps your readers to find answer to questions.

Choose your audience:

It’s very important that you choose your audience before actually starting to write your e-book. Decide which type of audience will benefit from your subject. Take into consideration different factors like age, caste, culture, social background and education of the audience you want to attract.

Creating the document:

Once you are done with the foundation of your e-book you can start writing the main body of your e-book. One of the best options to maintain your document is to write in MS Word. Writing in Ms Word can help you revise your document as and when you need it. You can also keep a check on any spelling errors in the process. Choose a font size that can be easy to read for people of all age groups. Avoid using too many fonts as this may irritate your readers.

Last of all create your e-book. Once you are done all you have to do is publish your e-book online, and wait for download request from your website visitors.

There was a great documentary titled, “Scared Straight.”

As I recall, teenage gang-bangers were shuttled to grown-up penitentiaries on the East coast to get a dose of what big time prison life is about.

If inoculated with a little bit of the poison, the theory went, they’d get just sick enough of crime to quit.

Well, I have my own equivalent of “Scared Straight,” as a writer, speaker, and independent consultant. Whenever I grow tired of my practice I look at the want ads, the classifieds that are looking for “writers” or whatever I’m bellyaching about at the time.

Just today, suffering from what Zig Ziglar calls, “stinkin’ thinkin’” I spotted an ad for a “writer” posted by a prestigious mutual fund company. (If you want this post, contact the Capital Companies in Brea, California.)

I suppose, for the cub reporter or budding journalist it’s an okay position, offering health benefits from “Day 1,” as they put it.

But to me, it’s death.

I cannot imagine finding myself or losing myself, whichever is my purpose for putting fingers to keypads, by interviewing financial services drones who haven’t had an original idea in their lifetimes.

Keeping busy, crafting in-house newsletters, is more than mind-numbing. It’s sticking your head into an electric oven and leaving with a suntan instead of a ticket to the hereafter.

Anyway, if you’re an independent type that is slacking off, goofing around, loafing, or spinning one alibi after the next, scare yourself straight.

Take a long look at the infinite, at slow death.

Scan those want ads, and then give yourself a big hug.

They don’t have you yet!
